This stack of giveaway goodness arrived at my house the other day, courtesy of Kristie at OCD and Fresh Squeezed Fabrics. I won a gift certificate to Fresh Squeezed by correctly guessing Kristie's age. Brave of her to let us try, wasn't it? I snagged some Meadowsweet 2 (a collection I mostly missed when it came out), plus that groovy print on top. Randi from Fresh Squeezed was super nice and got my fabric to me lightning fast. Fresh Squeezed has fantastic prices on Greenfield Hill bundles, including the voiles. Yummy! So thank you, Kristie and Randi. And everybody knows that when you win a giveaway, you should appease the giveaway gods by offering one of your own, right? Plus, I recently surpassed 200 followers. Yep, it's giveaway time.
So I've got a collection of Wonderland fat-eighths here. Who wants 'em? Anybody? There are scissors in there! And butterflies! To win, just leave me a comment telling me your favorite fabric line. And I would love to hear about lines that I may NOT have seen a million times all over blogland. I adore Denyse Schmidt and Momo as much as the next girl, and they deserve all the attention they get. But I also want to seek out the under-appreciated little guys. What lines or designers do you think are undiscovered? Aren't getting the attention they deserve?
I'll draw a winner on Valentine's Day morning. Nothing like a little fabric love to start your holiday off right. Good luck!
P.S. Voting starts today for the Gen X Quilters Love Nest Quilt Contest. Head over there to check out some beautiful bed-size quilts and vote for your favorite. My Single Girl is vying for the title—I'd love it if you would cast a vote for her. : )
I would have to say my favorite line is Meadowsweet 1 & 2! Such pretty patterns and colors!

I am in love with everything Kate Spain!!! I know she isn't under discovered but I just love her stuff!!
ReplyDeleteI personally Love Laura Gunn! I know her prints are large, but they are so sophisticated. I love the new Magnolia Lane line. She's incorporated some smaller florals and a plaid. The colors are lucious.
ReplyDeleteI am currently obsessed with Hideaway! It's making me a little crazy.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your win, and thanks for the giveaway!
I am in love with all things Anna Maria Horner. She has a nack for mixing geometrics with florals. I'm head over heals for Innocent Crush right now.

I am into sandy gervais...altho I don't think she is undiscovered.
ReplyDeleteI also really like lizzy house - i fell in love with lizzy dish!!!!
I really loved working with Sandi Henderson's Meadowsweet...orange flowers on browns...great fabrics. I also really love Amy Butler's Lacework fabric. I've used both of these for handbags...not sure they'd do well in a quilt...but they were adorable bags!
ReplyDeleteThank you for a lovely giveaway!
Currently, I am sort of in love with wonderland, but my all time favorite is Authentic and neptune. And whenever I go into a quilt store I always scour the shelves first too look for any hidden bolts.
ReplyDeleteFor one that doesn't get mentioned often, I like Wee Woodland. I also love Central Park and Innocent Crush. And anything Amy Butler!
ReplyDeleteI love everything by Dena Designs....she has a beautiful blog and a lot of talent! Currently you could look at Kumari Garden or Leanika (from last year)....just amazing! Thanks for the chance to enter....
ReplyDeleteI do not have a favorite line of fabri, yet. But right now, I am into solids.
ReplyDeleteThat is an easy one for me. I still love Make Life from Sweatwater - it has been my favorite for sometime now.
ReplyDeleteI made a tote bag using momo wonderland charm squares. I just love this fabric and wish that I bought more of it. I love Heather Ross fabrics and wish I bought more of her earlier fabric lines.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE Diane Kappa from Anthology Fabrics!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Lee....I love Kate Spain....but I do still really like Thimbleberries...something draws me back there a lot....
ReplyDeleteMy favorite recently has been Hope Valley-I love small scale prints. Also, I'm generally just a big fan of solids, and I'm starting a new quilt using just Kona solids.
ReplyDeleteI like Elenor Grosch's "Zoo Menagerie" for a baby blanket. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteThis Wonderland looks very interesting! I am drawn to the Riley Blake fabrics because I sew a lot for my granddaughter, but basically, I just love fabric!
ReplyDeleteclarkclay@bellsouth.net
I love Basic Grey fabrics, but I am currently making a quilt with Rosemarie Lavin's Spa... so it is my favorite right now :-)
ReplyDeleteI am starting to have a love affair with Sherbert Pips.
ReplyDeleteI've been oogling Journeys by Kathy Davis in my LQS since the day I set foot in their store (new to the area, but leaving already). I finally had a reason to pick some up the other day when my mom asked me to make a table runner for her.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful purples and blues and I just love the Dragonfly Dance fabric in purple.
Congrats on your giveaway win and thank you so much for doing a giveaway of your own. :)
Congrats on your win and thanks for hosting such a great give-away. I'm loving Laurie Wisburn and Anne Kelle lately.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite line is Sherbert Pips and I'm haven't even found any yet!!
ReplyDeleteI really love Neptune and now Parisville - amazingly rich colors and tiny unexpected details. I also think Urban Couture is amazing a breakthrough line for Basic Grey. I just discovered some fabrics from Prints Charming, an Australian company, that I purchased from The Quilted Castle - it is so soft and beautiful. Can't wait to see what else they come up with! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI really love Valori Wells' Delhi collection. They are so much more beautiful in person! The butterfly print is so great and I adore the big, fluffy mums (they're mums right? I don't know my flowers). It's good stuff and getting harder to find.
ReplyDeleteI also really love Tina Givens. Her fabrics don't always appeal to me on their own, but because of the rich and vibrant colors, always look stunning put together in a quilt. Really, really good stuff.
I'm all about Central Park and Robert Kaufman's Modern Living right now. Trying to restrain myself! I love Parisville and basically anything Tula Pink.
ReplyDeleteI know - these are all over blogland - what can I say, I'm a lemming. ;)
Meadowsweet is definitely one of my favorite collections. It's hard to choose, because I love Bliss and Central Park also. Thanks for passing on the love ...I mean the fabric.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fabric is Henna Garden from Sandi Henderson's Meadowsweet collection. I have it in all colors. LOVE.IT.
ReplyDeleteThen Laurie Wisbrun for sure, and Ann Kelle, and lots of solids.
It's hard to choose a favorite fabric line :) I actually have been revisiting some of the prints from Amy Butler's modern meadow line lately, and I think it might be my all time favorite.
ReplyDeleteI am currently in love with anything by Tula Pink-- especially her "Plume" line!
ReplyDeleteI like just about everything that comes out of Freespirit. Tea Garden is a favorite of theirs from Dena Designs. And I still adore Nest and McKenzie.
ReplyDeletePicking one is so hard! I love just about everything by Patricia Bravo - Sugar was one of my faves.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
I'm totally in love with Saffron Craig's Forest Elements and Owls. Wish they were in my fabric budget! But, then again, even if they were I love them so much I'd probably be to scared to cut into them! I'd just stare at their loveliness and try to dream up a project worthy of them.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win!
I love Kate Spain's Central Park fabrics, and anything Anna Maria Horner.
Michelle
I've been on the hunt for cute BOY lines this past year and some of my favorites are All Star and Cars from Riley Blake and Animal Party by Robert Kaufman.
ReplyDeleteTHANKS for the chance at those great prints!! I don't have any of those in my stash ~ and would LOVE to create with them :)
ourbusylittlebunch(at)hotmail(dot)com
I like those scissors & there are plenty of lines I really love, but my ALL TIME favorite is Rainy Days & Mondays by Riley Blake. Those umbrellas and rain drops are just to die for.
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of Lauren & Jessi Jung (created Hideaway, my current obsession). Not really sure if they are "discovered" or not... They are a cute little mom-daughter pair, and they have such great patterns that they design to go along with their fabric!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I do love me some MoMo Wonderland--I have a wee little stash of it, and would love to add to it--then I might actually have enough for a quilt!!
ReplyDeleteBut one of the unsung heroes I think has been Joel Dewberry. I've loved each of his lines, and each new one perhaps a little more than the ones previous. Modern Meadow has such a great palette, a mix of brights and neutrals, and some really gorgeous prints. I'll admit it, I'm hoarding!
I have fallen in love with Circa 60 Beach Mod by Monoluna for Birch fabrics. It is summery and funky. And right now, since we're buried under so much snow, we need something summery and funky!
ReplyDeleteThank you for such a great giveaway! :)
Chocolate Lollipop and Arcadia... I've been hoarding on to my collection of them. Probably high time I make something out of them for me. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteUmm, can I just pay you for these fabrics, because I have been wanting them, lol! j/k. Recently I have been loving the Tufted Tweets from Robert Kaufman, I made a quilt and a dress with those fabrics.
ReplyDeleteSaffron Craig.
ReplyDeleteShe is an independent fabric designer in Australia. Her Forestal Elements series is one of my favourite lines, especially the purple/orange series.
After her? Anything that the ladies of Prints Charming execute. I wish I had a shop nearby like theirs where I could refine my screen printing skills.
You've probably seen this a bazillion times in blog land but I am totally in LOVE with Moda Central Park by Kate Spain! Did you know you can buy matching plates at Crate & Barrel? How cool. Thanks for the giveaway and I always enjoy Work in Progress Wednesday :D
ReplyDeleteWell I just went to the Fabric Depot in Portland, Oregon and found a huge loft of lines that I just never heard of but may have seen surfing on the web. I'm in love with Kate Spains's new Central Park. I guess if it's the small designers it's Sherbet Pips by Aneela Hoey. Ugh - how about Valori Wells in my part of the world. Anne Kelle Hmmmmm
ReplyDeleteI am loving Carolina Chambray...i love the depth in the colors and i like the weight of the fabric over my other love of shot cottons. great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite is a fabric line from My minds eye by Riley Blake called Andrea Victoria. Oh so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love Heather Mulder Peterson as a designer--my LQS carries Henry Glass fabric and I seem to keep picking up her designs (see: my sliced coins quilt, which I didn't realize was HMP until I'd unfolded what I bought!).
ReplyDeleteI love some of the Aunt Grace prints. Her dots and ginghams are just the right color and scale for so many projects.
ReplyDeleteAren't you lovely to pay your good luck forward! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'm really digging Anna Griffin's Darcey Collection (Windham Fabrics) these days. Great basics.
Hi I like most designers but have really been admiring some of French General, also Kate Spains fabrics are yummy! :)
ReplyDeletesandangels1945@hotmail.com

ReplyDeleteI'm really in love with Tula Pink's Plume now...

ReplyDeletehmm...i love the meadowsweet lines, i am working on a pillow right now using them, also lizzy house, and i'm ready to buy parisville! :)
ReplyDeleteI have many favorites. Among them are Simple Abundance and Bliss from Bonnie and Camille, anything Kate Spain, and Amy Butler. Just to mane a few.
ReplyDeleteYou know, they aren't "cool" but I love the 1930's reproduction fabric. Some are WAY too sugary-cute, but many have the same feel as the much loved Katie Jump Rope line or the Japanese fairy tale fabric.
ReplyDeleteLaura Gunn has some great lines inspired by her art. I have to like her stuff because I went to HS with her husband and was roommates at college with her sister-in-law. My small claim to borrowed fame. :)
Thanks for the chance to win! I have been waffling about buying this line for months. Love it.
I kinda dig the new stuff by Jay McCaroll of Project Runway. :)

ReplyDeleteI'm in love with the line my local quilt store just got, Space Invaders. :-) Not sure the designer, but hubby and me both used to play and I couldn't resist.
ReplyDeleteI love anything by MoMo! Thanks for such a great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteJennifer :)

ReplyDeleteWow! I can't believe you're giving that lovely swirl of fabrics away!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite line of fabrics is the old school floral Liberty lawns. I had so many baby dresses from them as a little girl and my mum started a grandmother's flower garden from yardage she picked up on trips to London. So it's a very nostalgic range as well as uber pretty!
