WIP Wednesday #12

Welcome to a very snowy WIP Wednesday linky! Please join us—that is, if you're not too busy battling the Snowpocalypse. Although I suppose that could be considered a work in progress, too.Ongoing projects:Don't Call Me Betsy's Sliced Coins Quilt-AlongI am so loving my Pips layer cake in Elizabeth's design! The prints almost seem to sparkle, don't they? The next step is lots of very blue sashing! This quilt, which is part of the Margaret's Hope Chest Wrapped in Hope program, is my top priority right now. It will be a birthday gift for a 12-year-old girl named Alissa whose mother is in prison. (Heartbreaking, isn't it?) The deadline to mail it off to Alissa is just a little more than two weeks away. Lots to do on it before then!BlockapaloozaOops, I'm already falling behind on my Blockapalooza blocks. Well, maybe Snowapalooza will give me a chance to catch back up, what with not being able to leave my house and all.Ready for binding:All of a sudden, I have not one, not two, but three quilts that are ready to be bound: Modern Meadow, Urban Lattice, and Fall Equinox. How did that happen? That's a lot of hand-stitching. Fortunately, Snowmageddon is here! There is actually a "civil danger warning" in my area—nobody's supposed to leave the house if they can help it. So I get to sit on the couch and stitch! My Urban Lattice quilt is already being hand-stitched as we speak—there's a newborn baby girl with her name on that one. (Literally. I made my first quilt label last night.)Completed tops awaiting quilting:Hope ValleyOn hold for now:King-size IntersectionsCentral Park jelly roll quiltThat Girl quilt-alongFiggy Pudding quiltWonky Log CabinThis week's stats:New projects - 0Completed projects - 1 (My secret project! Let's see what you've got!
