Yep, backs always appeal to the minimalist in me.
In other news, summer is now in full swing at my house, with all the craziness that entails. This weekend was Miss E.'s dance recital—the event of the summer among 4-year-old girls around here. And in the coming weeks we have t-ball, swimming, tennis, zoo classes, birthday parties, travel plans ... you know the drill. I'm hoping to keep up my usual frenetic pace of sewing and blogging on top of that, but ... well, we'll see what happens. It's summer, after all. We don't get that much of it around here—I have to enjoy those fleeting moments! So if I don't post as often as usual during the summer months, you'll know why. But even if I'm not posting as frequently, you can bet I'm sneaking in plenty of sewing after the girlies are in bed! And I'll be sure to get pictures of it up sooner or later. Happy summer, everyone!
Oooh Lee - I especially love the first 2 photos. The first one would be absolutely gorgeous as the FRONT of a quilt! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your backs!! Gives me lots of inspiration!
ReplyDeleteOh, swoon :) I still totally heart that Fall Equinox back, it's just lovely. And so big! Yum, yum, yum! Glad to hear the recital went well, can't wait to hear more about all of Miss E's classes this summer! She's going to have a blast :)
ReplyDeleteGreat backs! I always run out of steam by the time I get there. Love those simple designs that add some flair. I feel ya when it comes to summer!
ReplyDeleteI usually run out of steam by the time I get to the backing, too -- but you've inspired me!
ReplyDeleteOooh... love it all! Very creative.
ReplyDeleteAwesome backs. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic.. These really are inspiring.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your backs as I am almost done with both my Supernova and Block-A-Pallooza tops and have no idea on how to back them. This gives me inspiration! Happy Summer to you too!
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful. I always laugh when I end up liking the back of my quilts more. How do you keep them so straight when basting? That is my biggest quilting flaw--I'm so impatient!
ReplyDeleteI love the back to Supernova! I like a good pieced back, but mine are normally a lot simpler than that - you've inspired me to try something a little more ambitious next time.
ReplyDeleteAll those backs are just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove them all, but especially the Urban Lattice back.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love them all!! I've never pieced the backing fabrics like them before (I just use one fabric for the backing.), but sure tempted to try one now. Each one of them look so unique and have fun personalities...
ReplyDeletethey look great. :)
ReplyDeleteSo sly and creative.
I love the diagonal strip on Urban Lattice! So cool.
ReplyDeletewow, those are all incredibly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI loved it, thanks for sharing
