WIP Wednesday: Guest-hosted by Svetlana

Hello, happy Wednesday everyone! My name is Svetlana and I blog over at s.o.t.a.k handmade. I'm so glad to be guest hosting this week's WIP Wednesday. Thanks for having me, Lee!I love WIP Wednesdays as they keep me on track and help me "remember" all the projects I should be working on before starting any new ones. Lately it's been all about preparing for my first-ever craft fair, so I spent most of my sewing time making pouches, pouches, and more pouches. Here are some of my latest creations.

Thankfully, the craft fair is on Saturday and I'll be able to get back to quiltingsoon. It's about time, too. My design wall is overflowing with tons ofunfinished miscellaneous blocks that beg for some love and attention.

I'm planning on using Amy's fantastic tutorial and making these two blocks into sewing kits.

I'm also looking forward to turning this improv pieced as well as my "think" blocks into pillows. I've fallen in love with rectangular pillows lately and both of these will make a nice addition to my pillow collection. Oh, I'm so glad my family does not mind having a gazillion pillows all around the house.

And then there's this churn dash quilt I'm making as a Christmas present for my FIL. I have almost all the blocks cut out, and most of the HSTs trimmed, now it's just a question of sitting down and assembling the blocks. Sounds simple, right? That's going to be my goal for next week. Wish me luck :)

Now it's your turn. What have you been working on this week? Here are the rules for linking up:

1. Link up any post from the past week that features at least one unfinished work-in-progress (WIP).

2. Somewhere in your post, you must link back here to my blog. (Or grab my WIP Wednesday button for your sidebar.)

3. Comment on at least a few of the other WIP Wednesday links. Because what fun is a linky party without comments?
