Monday Morning Randoms

ObmreLattice
Have you seen these fabulous new patterns, just out from some of my favorite bloggers? Kati of From the Blue Chair has made her Lattice Pattern Booklet available. The pattern includes four unique variations on the design—you won't believe how different four quilts from the same pattern can be!

Lucky Square
And Jess of Sew Crafty Jess recently released Lucky Squares, her first pattern. I think it's a fabulous pattern for showcasing Denyse Schmidt's Chicopee line.

In other news, the Handmade for Newtown auction wrapped up on Friday and raised more than $5,000 for those affected by the Newtown shooting! My little Meadow Links quilt sold for $125. Thank you to everyone for bidding and supporting the auction!

Summer Sampler quilt
Last but not least, if you're interested in the Summer Sampler Series, I'm currently putting together a PDF booklet that combines all 12 of the block tutorials into one handy document—and it will include some exclusive content not found online, such as ways to change the look of the blocks using value and color placement, new piecing and design tips, and lots of examples of finished projects that we've discovered in the Summer Sampler Series Flickr group. The PDF will be available soon, so stay tuned!
