So I spent the better part of the last year working on this. : ) I'm so happy to introduce "Vintage Quilt Revival: 22 Modern Designs from Classic Blocks." Think of it as "Summer Sampler Series, The Sequel" ... plus much, much more.
I'm so proud of this book and the projects in it (all 22 projects are based on the blocks in the cover quilt). I'm so lucky to have written this with two good friends, Katie and Faith. And I am so thrilled that our shared vision for the book is finally becoming reality, after more than a year of working on it. I can't wait to share lots more details about it with all of you in the coming months!

I'd much rather they let you say you're working on a big book or pattern. Since we're all mostly moms, I always figure life get busy, but it'd be much more fun and exciting to know that you're busy doing something great like this!! Can't wait to see it in person! Although, again, folks like me in teeny tiny towns never get to see books like this in real life :(. Thanks goodness for Amazon!
ReplyDeleteThe secrecy thing is understandable, up to a point. Publishers don't want to get scooped. If the idea or concepts get released too soon then another publisher might have time to get a book together first. Ah, competition.
