Greek Key Quilt-Along Starts Today

My Greek Key quilt-along that I've been teasing for weeks now is finally happening! Fabric requirements and cutting instructions are now posted on Bernina's website, We All Sew. And additional instruction posts will follow each Monday for two more weeks.

So the full schedule will be:
Monday, Feb. 8 - Fabric requirements and cutting instructions
Monday, Feb. 15 - Making the blocks
Monday, Feb. 22 - Assembling the top and quilting

Head over to We All Sew to read all the details!

I hope you guys will make this quilt along with me, since that's what quilt-alongs are for! And if you do, you can post your progress on Instagram with the hashtags #greekkeyquilt and #weallsew. Or, if you're not on Instagram, just click here to check out everyone else's progress! Enjoy!

It's great to see this one in its entirety! Love the pop of color, such a great addition. :)

Thanks for sharing a good beginning into modern quilting for me. This looks like it also works up fast and won't be victim to my beginner FMQ attempts -- lol.

Looks good! I hadn't heard about this till just now, but I'm already imagining color schemes :)

I like your minimalist palette, but I'm envisioning using my American Made Brand solids (I have a lot of different colors because I love the fabric!) to make a rainbow wash effect. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!

This would be a good pattern to use the new Kona colour of the year. In large doses I think it would be obnoxious because it is so bright!

Lee, there are some cutting questions on the "We All Sew" website. I would love to participate in the quilt along but am hesitant to start cutting. Thank you!

Hi! I am in the process of sewing machine shopping (I am an experienced sewer) I am looking at Janome's and I just read your very old post about your Janome 7700 that you purchased. I see that you now have a bernina. I was wondering if you could tell me why you switched and how your experience with your Janome was. Do you regret buying it? Was it a bad machine? Thanks!

Copyright and Permissions FAQ

Can I make a quilt that looks just like one of yours? Of course! You don't need my permission for that. But remember, it's polite (and helpful to others) to credit your source of inspiration.

Can I share one of your photos on my blog or website? Probably! But please contact me for permission first. Use of my photos for commercial purposes is prohibited.

Can I pin your photos to Pinterest? Yes, please do! I love Pinterest!

Can I sell individual items made from your tutorials or patterns? Yes! As long as you don't open a factory and start churning out hundreds of them. : ) And please do not reproduce or sell the patterns or tutorials themselves. Thank you!
