Two more Paper Chain blocks complete

Well, I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that it's been a crazy month for me. We've been isolating for about two weeks now, and today was Day 1 of my girls' online school, which involved no shortage of frustrations. But I'm trying to forge ahead and catch up on some blogging anyway—might as well carry on as normal in those few areas of life where we can! So without further ado, here are the February and March Paper Chain blocks.

First up, February's block is X Spot by Faith Jones. This is a favorite of mine from the 2016 Summer Sampler. Paper-pieced of course (as all the Paper Chain blocks are), but in simple strips! And I love the look of this one when it's set on point.

March's block is Princess Cut, designed by me. This one was made to be set on point. And I think you'll find it comes together beautifully - I designed it so that all those seams would nest, making it easier to assemble the block after the sections are paper-pieced. I love it when a plan comes together the way this one did! (Yes, I'm making my Paper Chain quilt in Christmas colors - I'll have a new Christmas quilt by Dec. 2020!)

Next up: April's block will release to subscribers on April 6!
