If you've never paper-pieced before, I know it might sound a little scary, but these Flying Geese units are actually a great beginner-friendly way to try out paper-piecing! And the beauty of paper-piecing (and these templates) is that you never have to worry about an accurate 1/4" seam or accurate cutting! Just sew on the line, trim around the edges at the end, and ta da, it's perfect, every time. It really is my favorite way to make challenging units like Flying Geese.
